Current Exhibitions

ArtCare exhibitions help to create a friendly hospital environment and an opportunity for artists to display their pictures in a lively public space. 30% commission is taken on all sales, which helps fund the art service. All exhibitions are free to view. You can pick up an exhibition catalogue from the holders alongside the exhibition.

'Charlie' by John WilsonLaura Bell Group

Level 3 & 4, Main corridors, SDH North

The annual show from the Laura Bell's students. This year the artists have been wresting with two main areas of study. Firstly, experimenting with one or two different watercolour techniques designed to loosen up creativity and secondly, looking at narrative in art - how to tell a story or get a message or an idea across.

Level 3 corridor, Phase II new build, SDH North

GCE Applied Arts students Gemini Brookes, Shannon Todd, Ollie Grease and Danielle Goddard, all from Salisbury High School, were commissioned to produce a piece of artwork as part of their course for display at Salisbury District Hospital. The four students, working on the theme of water, produced a series of acrylic paintings on canvas.
