Services provided by ArtCare

ArtCare provides a variety of services within the Trust and is also able to provide an arts in health service to external clients. Guided tours of the artworks around the hospital, including the New Art on Site commissions, can be arranged with ArtCare. The team are also available to give presentations about the project to arts and health organisations and community groups. Please contact Peter Ursem for further information.

ArtCare offers:

  • an interior design service advising on colour schemes, placement of leaflet racks, noticeboards etc.
  • workshops - e.g. printmaking, mosaics, collage, mobile making
  • a framed poster service
  • temporary exhibitions
  • advice and organisation of commissions
  • window design (using coloured film)
  • consultancy on setting up projects, art committees and art fundraising
  • art sessions on wards and staff arts workshops
  • musical performances
  • creative writing projects
